The way we view Jesus changes fundamentally how we live our lives; if we view him as commander, we hear him barking orders, standing on the sideline waiting for us to fail to dole out punishment; if we see him as King we see him as a ruler far away, barking out orders and not being involved in our lives but to give us rules to follow and punish us when we are wrong. The Bible tells us the better way, to view Jesus as our Shepherd as the one to lead and guide us through the chaos and when we find him that way we realize we lack nothing.
This Sunday at 10:30 (online or in person), we’ll explore how to see Jesus as Shepherd, and the benefits of that in our lives.
