Glow is our youth group on Wednesdays at 6:30, with our doors opening at 6:00. We will spend time in worship through music, studying the Bible, and just spending time hanging out in our youth room downstairs or playing games in our gym. We have programming set up for K-5th grade (Kindle), 6th-8th grade (Ignite), and 9th-12th grade (Inferno). Each program is developed and set up to meet the needs of those age groups. In addition, we also provide an adult Bible Study at the same time for parents of our students or any adult that desires to attend.

On Sunday Nights, we offer a small group for just High School Students known as Inferno. The purpose of this group is to go deeper into topics that we can't necessarily talk about during Glow with Middle School Students or Elementary Students.  The content of these lessons/discussions pertain to deeper issues, hard questions about the Christian faith, and current events that they are intrigued by. We meet Sunday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Church (503 N. Main), and we have times for discussion, hanging out, and games.

Inferno Winter Schedule

February 25th | NO MEETING

March 4th | Purpose of Prayer by Francis Chan

March 11th | Practice of Prayer by Francis Chan

March 18th | Pursuit of Prayer by Francis Chan

March 25th | Power of Prayer by Francis Chan

Throughout the year we meet at Mad Goat Coffee in Danville with area college students. We drink coffee, catch up on how school is going, and discuss relevant topics or recent events in the news and how we should approach these things from a Biblical standpoint. This is a very casual meeting, but will cause all that are involved to think for themselves. We want to know what you believe and why you believe it. Students will continually hear, "Why?" and "What else?" in order to have them fully explain their positions on topics and own their beliefs. College can be one of the toughest times for students because most are away from their safe haven of home or their home Church, so we want to create a place for them to go and be fed by other Christians their own age. Any and all college students are welcome. Come out, let us buy you a cup of coffee, and let's discuss.

Next Meeting: TBD | MadGoat Coffee

rightnowMEDIA Kids

Here at FCOC we utilize a resource called "rightnowMEDIA" and is used in all kinds of areas. One of those areas is for kids. The "Kids" section in rightnowMEDIA includes shows like Veggietales, 321 Penguins, Boz, Theo, and so much more. It's like a Netflix for Christian entertainment. If you are interested in signing up, email Lucas (lucas@gtownfcoc.org) for more information. Best part, it's completely free for those in the church!

How can I get involved?

If you'd like to get involved in the youth ministry, fill out this form to get in contact with Lucas. Put "Youth Ministry" in the subject and write how you'd like to be involved in the message. We'd love to have you!
