On Thursday, May 2 at 12:00p there will be a gathering at Patriot Park here on the square in Georgetown in observance of the National Day of Prayer. Matt Filicsky, minister at Georgetown United Methodist Church, will lead the service. The focus of this service is to pray for our country, our state and our towns and surrounding communities. Our hope is that individuals, churches, and spiritual leaders in America, will humble ourselves and unify in prevailing prayer for the next great move of God in America. #Love1Another

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34 NIV

Starting Wednesday night May 8th we will be offering a 5 week video/book study class for parents based off of the book Intentional Parenting by Doug and Cathy Fields. It will begin at 6:30 and run until 8:30 each week. To be an exceptional parent, you need to be an intentional parent. But, don’t worry! You’re not alone, Doug and Cathy are here to help. They’re veteran parents who can help you move from Quick-Fix Parenting to Intentional Parenting. It’s never too late to become an intentional parent. Remember, you are the greatest influence on the life of your child (no matter their age)! And it can all begin with this study lesson. Let’s walk this very important journey—together!

Don't worry about trying to find a sitter, childcare will be provided each week!
